There are SO many dirt roads on this mountain. Heaven!  This is definitely going to be one of my favorite places to explore in Southern California.

Amusement parks have nothing on a dirt road in the middle of the mountains.  

It's exciting and fun, not to mention absolutely beautiful and grounding.  After a long week of sitting in front of my computer, working my butt off and attempting to be super mom, being in nature, having a blast and relaxing is exactly what I need.  

Yuccas in bloom.  With all the rain we have had this year, I was able to catch the Yuccas in bloom!  I normally see them tipped over and dead.  They were all over the place and absolutely stunning.

Being in nature is my mental, emotional and spiritual reset.  Everything I stress about or simply cannot not stop thinking about naturally melts away and I can't help to just be there, in nature, noticing the sounds of the birds and the way the wind sounds blowing through the trees.  

Exploring our surroundings - appreciating and talking about the mistletoe.  It's fun to be out there with someone who is so knowledgable about plants and such.

My regular, every day life seems so far away and I can see clearly.  

My passions become clear.  I have a flood of inspired ideas come to me from simply being away, with nature.  It's a truly magical and necessary experience. It's so natural for us to be in nature.  It brings me to my natural state and everything is good again.  I am grateful to have a man in my life who takes me on nature adventures, pushes me to face my fears and takes me to places I wouldn't otherwise experience.  

I will continue to add to this, because I have more pictures!
